Large or small checkered floor?
We are about to purchase an old Queen Anne style home that has a small kitchen. We want to put down a black and white checkered floor (on an angle so they look more like diamonds than squares). Will big squares make the room look smaller (12")? Or should we use the smaller squares (3").
I personally think that you should install a large checkered tile. Small checkers would look too busy and make your kitchen look outdated and small. So I would do 12" or larger tiles to mae your kitchen appear larger.
