Blood Tile
Fainting when talking about blood?
So in my anatomy class today, we started a chapter on blood. This frightened me because I do not like hearing anything about blood, and for me, going in depth about anything in that class makes me lightheaded. I thought I could handle this, but I fear that I may faint and hit my head on the tile ground (we are sitting on stools) and seriously injure myself. I can't not miss this (I have already asked if I could get out of this, he [my teacher] said no, even with a parental note). Any tips for me to stop this feeling? I never really thought I had a phobia of blood, but I think I do now.
Also, no replys telling me to "suck it up".
Also, even though I had tried to ask to get out of it, I think I should go on with this anyways. I need to overcome this fear sometime, now would be a great time to start.

you just need to relax and not get yourself worked up over what you are imagining in your head.
drink some water and lay your head on the table if needed.
maybe some tea for relaxation - valerian, passionflower.
