Blue Mosaic Counter
Help with kitchen remodel...?
My husband and I are getting our kitchen re-modeled, and I have a question about the tile. We are getting granite counter tops, and tile floors. My question is about the backsplash. The counter tops are a black granite with blue/greenish flecks, with some tan flecks too, the floor tile is a earth tone beige. How do we match our backsplash? Should we match it to the floor or to the counter tops? I was thinking earth toned Glass Mosaic Tiles, possibly with black glass tiles in there too. Any suggestions?
Your kitchen will look larger and cleaner if you match to the floor and leave black out of the backsplash. Earth-toned glass mosaic tiles sound perfect. Less expensive and just as beautiful might be cork behind solid glass. Also easier to clean. Whatever you do, match any additional exposed wall to the backsplash color. Sounds like it's going to be beautiful and utilitarian.
