There is no totally prescriptive way to order multiple adjectives, especially when there are a lot of them, but to my mind most of those sentences look good.
The only only that that looks wrong to me is about the sofa. Try "My mother's big brown leather sofa...." To my mind 'leather' must be next to 'sofa' - anything else feels awkward, not what I would write.
NB capital for 'Australian'.
