Kitchen Bathroom Wall
Is "Kitchen and Bathroom" paint any good?
I'm redecorating my kitchen - the current wall covering is 10 year old paint, but I did it in sponged terracotta glaze which, although now hideously unfashionable (hence the redecorating), has proved to be a really sturdy scrubbable wallcovering.
I've chosen my lovely new cream colour, but do I get it in satin, or is it worth paying the extra for Kitchen & Bathroom?
First things first; wash all your paint surface area with Mangers Sugar Soap, inexpensive at any hardware store. Make sure you wear your Marigold gloves because your hands will dry out!

From that you will be able to draw sound conclusions because you have a lot of varying answers here. Whatever your decision always remember that the most important part of painting/re-decoration is 'sound preparation'.
As regards cost, any job worth doing is worth doing WELL and bearing in mind the time and effort involved it's always better to spend a few extra pennies and get a good result.
