Puzzle Interlock Foam
How to tell the difference between a bruised and broken toe?

Today I washed my son's interlocking foam puzzle pieces in our upstairs bathroom. While carrying them downstairs I dropped one and then proceeded to slip on it(it was still a bit damp) and then fall down the rest of the stairs. I landed with my pinky toe bent underneath and all my weight kind of fell on it.

This was around 4:15 PM. Now, at almost 11 PM my whole toe is swollen, incredibly bruised, and has shooting pains even if I'm sitting down and resting it. I kind of have to walk on the side of my foot to avoid more pain and it hurts if any amount of weight is put down on it.

I know no one can give me a proper diagnosis but I really don't want to go to the doctor for just bruising. And, really, what can they do anyway?

Ah... I knew this question was from you. Haha. Im so sorry. I know how bad this hurts. I used to dance, and had many broken toes.. which is what that sounds like. Unfortunately, nothing you can do but ice it. My best friends mom (guardian) is an RN, and she said buy some medical tape..

like that, and taping your little toe to the one next to it. Theres nothing a doctor can really do! I'm sorry ):
