Rock Mosaic Tile
Can someone explain how to remodel my existing shower area, tiled, and turn it into a natural stone bathtub?
I want to use sandstone on the outside, build up the side walls with brick, and and then build a little shelf area to sit, all faced with natural rock, but how do I make it waterproof using rocks and grout? Should I lay mosaic tile inside or can I use sandstone or other stones all the way through? Explain the components of products as I am living in a non-english speaking country. The area is small, maybe1 1/2 yards by 2 1/2 yards, there is already a drain of course for the shower. I want the shower to still be used inside the tub and just have it run down the drain to be a pool/shower combo...
After you grout it really well, and clean it really well, you have to put a sealant on it.
